Jamaican hotelier, Nicola Madden-Greig, named CHTA President
Nicola Madden-Greig, a well-known Caribbean hotelier, has been chosen the new President of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
During CHTA's Annual General Meeting last week, the award-winning Jamaican was raised to the role. She will complete the final year of a two-year term vacated by Pablo Torres, who resigned after taking on greater regional duties with Hilton International.
According to a press release from the CHTA, Madden-Greig praised Torres' performance as president and thanked him for "stepping up to the plate to lead the association during a moment of tremendous stress."
She reportedly praised his leadership during the pandemic and wished him well.
