Rihanna has once again set the beauty world abuzz, but this time, she's focusing on her Caribbean roots. Starting 24 October, Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Fragrance, and the recently launched Fenty Hair will be available in nine Caribbean islands, including the superstar’s birthplace, Barbados. The expansion will bring Rihanna’s globally recognized beauty empire to Antigua, Aruba, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, and Sint Maarten.

The announcement was made by Rihanna herself on TikTok on 1 October, where she shared her joy about Fenty's Caribbean debut. "After all these years I could not be more excited to announce that Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are finally going to be available across the Caribbean and in my home country Barbados," she stated. She further emphasized how her upbringing in the Caribbean inspired the inclusive beauty line, saying, "I know you will all find something that works for you."

Fenty Beauty’s presence in these islands will be made possible through a selection of prestigious retailers such as Lipstick Antigua, Maggy’s Aruba, John Bull Ltd Bahamas, Bridgetown Duty-Free in Barbados, 59 Front in Bermuda, Kirk Freeport in Cayman Islands, and Vendome in Trinidad and Tobago. This move aligns with the brand’s commitment to offering inclusive beauty products to all skin tones and types, a mission that has been at the heart of Fenty’s meteoric rise.

Since its 2017 launch with LVMH, Fenty Beauty has made a significant mark on the global beauty industry, promoting diversity with its iconic 50-shade foundation range. The inclusive nature of the brand earned it a spot on Time Magazine’s "Best Invention of the Year" list. Rihanna’s vision for beauty doesn’t just stop at makeup; she has since expanded into skincare, fragrance, and most recently, Fenty Hair in June 2024.

Fenty Beauty’s impact goes beyond its products. In 2023, the brand topped the charts as the highest-grossing celebrity beauty brand, generating £477 million in revenue, according to Statista. This Caribbean launch will only propel the brand further into the global spotlight, adding to its recent expansions into China and India earlier this year.

With this new chapter, Rihanna isn’t just sharing her beauty products; she’s also celebrating her heritage. The launch across these nine islands is a testament to the brand’s continued growth and its deep connection to its founder’s Caribbean roots. As Fenty Beauty continues to expand globally, it’s clear that Rihanna's vision of inclusive beauty is resonating across borders—and now, it’s making its long-awaited return home.

Fenty's Caribbean debut is undoubtedly a game-changer for the beauty landscape in the region, offering locals easier access to products that represent all skin tones and types, just as Rihanna intended. For Caribbean fans of the brand, the wait is finally over!
